Here we are at Week Four of my Four Christmas Gifts Guide! Out of all the weeks, this one was probably my favorite to put together: READ.

Four Holiday Gifts Guide: Want

This December, Callum will be celebrating his third Christmas ever. I've always loved Christmas, but since he's been born, it's just turned into such a magical time of year. It's been so fun watching it through his eyes.

But, I do have a confession to make.

The last two years, I went way overboard on the gifts. Like way overboard. I was so excited to give him all these fun things, and I wanted to make Christmas morning extra special, but he would've been happy with just a couple of presents. I realized I needed to stop myself now, before he gets older and starts to expect an insane amount of gifts.

So, when my friend and neighbor, Alyson, told me about how she buys gifts for her kids, I knew it was something I totally wanted to incorporate into our Christmas. Alyson and her family have always gone by the 4 Gifts rule. 4 Gifts is all about cutting down on gifting and giving gifts that someone truly wants or needs. There are four categories (need, want, wear, read) and you buy something from each category.
