34 weeks

Six to go! We're officially at the mark that if I go into labor now, they won't stop it. Hold off just a few more weeks, though, Baby, we're not quite ready for you. You dad's going to Seattle this weekend with friends to watch some Brewer's games and I want to make sure you don't come while he's away. He would be crushed.

This week you weigh over 5 pounds and are about 19 - 22 inches in length. And, they're still saying the size of a large cantaloupe.

Symptoms: This past week, being pregnant has become increasingly more difficult: I'm tired, I move slow, I'm out of breath always (even sitting at my desk), and am just uncomfortable all the time. Hopefully I get a little more used to my current state, or else this is going to be a long six weeks. Now I'm definitely starting to understand why moms are so ready to serve eviction notices to their little ones at exactly 40 weeks.

Movement: Still doing lots of it. The movements are definitely much stronger, too. It's pretty crazy. I can see a lot more of them from the outside, too. There are always various bumps sticking out all over the place.

Sleep: Not so hot this week. It could be worse, I guess, but I just feel like I haven't gotten a good night's sleep in soooo long. I wake up so much to get comfortable and to pee. It's also getting harder to turn over due to the large belly. I had one night, too, where I woke up at like 2:30 and couldn't fall back asleep until like 4 or 4:30. It was pretty lame.

Workouts: Still getting morning walks with Jax. They have been leaving me more tired, but I'm going to keep on truckin'.

Food cravings/aversions: Food in general just hasn't sounded that appealing this week, again. I'm thinking maybe your growth has slowed a bit now.

Suspicions on gender: Stickin' with boy.

Next doctor's appointment: Thursday! At our birthing class last week, we spent the last half hour or so of the class with the moms getting massages from the dads. We were supposed to tell them what felt good and what didn't so they know how to support us during labor. It was glorious. We also talked a lot about getting epidurals and ... it totally freaked me out. Getting one is pretty intense. I'm not sold on getting one or not getting one. We'll just have to see what happens when the times comes.

Looking forward to: My baby shower this weekend and EVERYONE BEING IN TOWN!! Seriously, Anna and Andy (and Leinie), Katy, Lyndsey, Brianna, Cari .... AHHH!! I can't wait!

We hung curtains in your nursery this past weekend. Your grandma Olson made them for you and they are amazing. They really add a good touch of color to your room.

Your dad and I went to the State Fair this past weekend, too, and man, did I do too much walking. I was sore all night and the next day still felt like crap. It really is difficult getting used to this whole, "I can't do as much as I'd like to" thing.
