Expecting the Unexpected: Friday Favorites

We made it. Good work, folks.

I hope everyone has a spectacular weekend ahead of them. I'll be laying pretty low tonight. Tomorrow, I'm heading to Stevens Point, Wisconsin, to complete 13.1 miles in Walk Wisconsin with my mom, her sisters, and my cousin. This is my second year participating in this half-marathon walk (everyone else's third year). It's a gorgeous course and I'm really looking forward to spending the long walk with my family. Sunday, we're having a few friends over for a low-key playdate. It will be the perfect way to wind down before Monday is back at us.

Here are a few things that have been making me happy, happy, happy this week.

1. Summa. Summa. Summertime!!

I finally feel like summer has landed in Wisconsin! And, we've been soaking up every minute of it. Nothing makes me happier than being able to spend the whole day outdoors. And, boy, oh boy does it tire Callum out. I can always count on a full night's sleep after a few good hours running around outside.

2. Jersey Jumpsuits from H&M

I bought two of these jumpsuits (the striped and the pink one) and have been living in them ever since. They are so comfortable and perfect for hanging out around the house. I've also been dressing them up a bit by throwing on a chambray shirt and a cute necklace. Order some now! Do it! You won't regret it.

3. Fixer Upper

Have you guys seen this show on HGTV? I recently discovered it and can.not.get.enough. The show follows a husband and wife team that, you guessed it, fixes up old houses for their clients. Chip, the husband, specializes in construction, and Joanna, the other half of the dynamic duo, has an unbelievable eye for design. The house transformations they complete are amazing. Plus, they are really adorable to watch together.

4. This T-shirt for Callum from Old Navy. I must have it! Sadly, it's out of stock in his size online. I've stopped in store to search for it, too, without any luck. So, if any of you out there in the interwebs happen to see this shirt in a 2T at their local Old Navy, snatch that ish up!

5. And, my last favorite for today is being able to hang these cutie cute diapers on the line now that the weather is warmed up. As I'm sure all you other cloth diaper mommas out there know, nothing gets cloth diapers cleaner than a good sunning. Plus, they just look so ding, dang cute on the line.
